Clear Creek Music Festival
The Clear Creek Music Festival, set in the rustic beauty and pristine air of Pine Valley, was founded in 2011 to provide gifted musicians ages 16 to post-college with two weeks of intensive study in voice, piano, cello, or music composition balanced by recreation in “the Alps of eastern Oregon.”
Students develop their performance skills in a stimulating, non-competitive atmosphere through daily lessons, masterclasses, chamber coaching and larger ensemble work. This festival provides time dedicated to solo repertoire as well as exploration of new works: ideal for recital preparation, and multiple public performances.
This year’s program includes expanded possibilities for community participation. All Clear Creek Music Festival concerts are open to the public. Registration information is available on the Festival website: www.clearcreekmusicfestival.org. Exact dates and registration fees for the Clear Creek Kids music camp, Community/Festival Chorus rehearsals, and other programs can be found on the website.
