Eclipse Camping with Cowboys at he Haines Rodeo Grounds
The Haines Stampede Rodeo is offering a one of kind eclipse camping experience in Haines Oregon. The Haines Stampede Eclipse Camp, located in the path of totality on historic Hwy 30, in Haines, just 8 miles from Baker City offers campers a spectacular view of the eclipse right from camp with approx 1 minute of totality.
Eclipse campers will also be treated to a great sampling of local cowboy culture with a special eclipse team roping to benefit Baker High School FFA on Saturday and Sunday starting at 10 a.m. both days, admission is free for eclipse campers, and concessions are available during team roping.
Campers will also be treated to a free cowboy Dutch oven breakfast provided for campers on Monday morning 6am-9am. prior to the eclipse
The Haines Stampede Rodeo Grounds, are available for dry camping, though there are no hookups, pottable water, porta-potties and dumpster are provided. 3 night minimum $250, 4 nights max ($50 for extra night).
