3 Easter Egg Hunts:  Saturday April 15th 

Baker City

Always the Saturday before Easter this community Easter egg hunt in Baker City’s historic Geiser Pollman Park is a whirlwind of excitement with hundreds of kids collecting Easter eggs and prizes in the park.  6944993628_3f4dd16a5e_z

Families gather starting at 9:30 and when the horn blows at 10 a.m. its an egg hunting frenzy.



Slightly less crowded, but just as much fun the Halfway Easter Egg Hunt at Lions Park


starts at 10 a.m and is a great way to start your Easter Saturday in the charming small town of Halfway



The small town of Richland also hosts an afternoon Easter Egg Hunt


at Baker County’s  Hewitt Park along the banks of the Brownlee reservoir starting at 1 p.m.


Kids Rodeo 

The 17th annual Shriner’s Children’s Rodeo hosted by the Baker City Shriners immediately following the Baker City Easter Egg hunt.

Star Party on the Oregon Trail

The Oregon Trail Interpretive Center is partnering with Baker County Library and OMSI for a night of star gazing. This event is completely free and will begin at 8PM and goes until midnight.
